AI Trade Ideas, a product of Syntronix Solutions ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials
• Chart Data: Trading charts you upload or link for analysis
• Analysis Notes: Additional context you provide for chart analysis
• Trade Log Data: Trade outcomes, notes, and performance data you record
• Payment Information: Payment details processed securely through our trusted payment provider

When you use our Service, we automatically collect certain information:

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction patterns
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers
• Cookies: Authentication tokens and session data (see Section 7)

4.1 Where We Store Data

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by trusted cloud infrastructure providers. Storage covers user account data, analyses, trade logs, and uploaded chart images.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

5.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it for the purposes we specify. Categories of providers include:

• Payment processing: Subscription billing and transaction management
• AI analysis: Chart image processing for AI-generated analysis (only chart images and context are shared)
• Cloud infrastructure: Application hosting, database, and file storage
• Email delivery: Transactional and service-related emails

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:

• Active Accounts: Data retained while your account is active
• Deleted Accounts: Data permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law

7. Cookies, Measurement and Advertising

We use a small number of first-party cookies. We do not load advertising or analytics scripts from third parties in your browser.

• Necessary: signing you in and keeping your session, remembering preferences such as the theme, and remembering your privacy choice.
• Usage statistics: aggregate, cookie-free page statistics (Vercel Analytics) to see which pages are used.
• Campaign measurement (optional): which ad, link or partner brought you to us — the campaign parameters in the address (for example utm_source) and the click identifiers the advertising platforms below add to their links — kept in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days.

7.1 What we share with advertising platforms

When you verify your account or complete a purchase, and campaign measurement is allowed for you, our server tells the advertising platform whose ad brought you here that this conversion happened. The platforms we currently do this with are Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Reddit. We send: the type of event (sign-up or purchase), its time, the purchase amount and currency, a one-way hash (SHA-256) of your email address and of our internal user ID, the platform's click identifier, and your IP address and browser user agent, which the platforms use to match the event to the ad. We never send your name, your analyses, your trade log or any payment details. The platforms use this to report and optimise ad performance, under their own terms and privacy policies.

7.2 Your choice

• In the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Québec we ask first. Nothing is measured until you say yes.
• Everywhere else campaign measurement is on by default, and you can switch it off at any time.
• You can change your choice at any time with Privacy choices at the foot of every page. When you switch it off we stop sending events and delete the stored campaign identifiers, IP address and user agent from your account.

Legal basis (EU/UK): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of what happened before. Necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest in providing the Service you asked for.

8. Browser Extension

Our optional browser extension puts the AI Trading & Education Coach in your browser's side panel. It is not required to use the Service, and it does nothing until you explicitly invoke it.

8.1 What the Extension Sends Us

When — and only when — you choose one of the extension's right-click entries, it sends us:

• Selected text: the passage you highlighted, together with your question
• Page text: the readable text of the page you asked about, together with your question

This is processed exactly like a message you type into the coach on our website: it is stored with your coach conversation history and sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. See Section 3 for how we use this information and Section 5.1 for our processors.

8.2 What the Extension Does Not Do

• It does not read pages on its own and does not run in the background
• It has no access to any page until you invoke it on that page
• It does not take screenshots
• It does not track your browsing history or which sites you visit
• We do not fetch the pages you ask about from our servers — we receive only the text your browser sends

The extension requests no broad website permissions. Access to a page is granted by Chrome for that one tab, at the moment you click one of our menu entries, and ends when you navigate away.

8.3 Extension Sign-In

Signing in issues a token tied to your account, stored in your browser. We store only a cryptographic hash of it, never the token itself. You can revoke it at any time under Account settings; revocation takes effect on the extension's next request. Removing the extension also removes the copy held in your browser.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (via account settings)
• Export: Request a portable copy of your data
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications
• Object: Object to certain processing of your data

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete such information.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or equivalent safeguards to lawfully transfer data internationally.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We will also notify you via email for material changes.
